Ketevan Murghulia
Media Researcher
Ketevan Murghulia is a graduate student of Ilia State University and Silesia State University (Poland) with a major in Social Sciences. Currently, she is doing a master’s degree in political sciences at Ilia State University. She has a diverse experience in working in the NGO sector. She has participated in more than 30 international programs implemented in 12 different countries. Ketevan was a mentor at Youth Parliament of Georgia. Since 2018 she is a Georgian Young Ambassador in the European Union.
Konstantine Chachibaia
Legal Counsel
Konstantine Chachibaia is a lawyer at the DRI. He holds a bachelor's degree in Law from Tbilisi State University. In 2016, Konstantine acquired a master's degree in Public Law from Tbilisi State University. In 2019, he obtained a master's degree in Religious Studies from Ilia State University.
He has extensive working experience in the non-governmental sector. Over the years, he has participated in various research projects on human rights, equality, religious and ethnic minorities.
Tatia Koniashvili

Tatia Koniashvili is a Lawyer at DRI. She has a Bachelor’s degree in law from Tbilisi State University. Currently, she is studying for a master’s degree at the same university. In 2017 - 2018 she was an intern at Non-commercial Legal Entity - ,,My Lawer” and at Notary Office. At different times she has participated in trainings, moot courts and conferences. In 2017-2019 she was a Lawyer at ,,Green Caucasus”. Since 2016 she is a long-term observer at ISFED.

Mariam Chitishvili
Public Relation Manager
Mariam Chitishvili has a bachelor's degree in international journalism and a master's degree in international relations. She made a public relation course in Georgian Institute of Public Affairs. Mariam has academic and journalistic experience. In 2013-2014 she was working as a public relation manager in national centre of manuscript and then in 2014-2019 years she was working in non government organization Article 42 of the constitution as a PR manager.
Ana Gakhokidze

Ana Gakhokidze is licensed lawyer in criminal, civil, administrative law and she also has an additional specialization in children's justice and children's rights.

Ana holds a bachelor's degree of Ilia State University, Faculty of Law and a Master's degree in Public Law of University of Georgia. She has experience of many years working in the field of human rights. 2012-2016 was employed in the non-governmental sector. 2016-2018 worked in the Regional Department of the Public Defender's Office of Georgia. Ana is practicing lawyer since 2019 and cooperates with several law firms.

Mariam Geliashvili
Mariam Geliashvili is a Researcher at DRI. She  graduated from Tbilisi State University. She has bachelor degree in Social and Political Sciences. Also she is student school of law at Ilia state university. At the same time she studies at the TSU College of Media and Arts, Faculty of Television Graphics. From 2019 to 2020 she worked for investigative journalist team Ifact.
Maia Khurtsilava
Lawyer (Intern)

Maia Khurtsilava is a lawyer specialized in general and juvenile justice. She has Bachelor's and Master's academic degrees from the University of Georgia. Khurtsilava was a lawyer at the non-governmental organization “Human Rights Defense” in 2017-2018 years. She worked for various law firms from 2019-2022 years. Khurtsilava participated in different international programs and conferences. From 2019 till now, she is a researcher at the Center of Crime and Criminal Justice at the Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University.
Malkhaz Saldadze

Malkhaz Saldadze is a PhD student at the George Mason University Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution. He received an MA in Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies from the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. He would like to focus his PhD research on the perception of causes and the current status of the conflicts in Georgia through the prism of peace and justice as viewed by parties engaged in them. As part of civil society and various research institutions in Georgia, he has worked on these issues through programs and projects that were aimed at shaping public discourses on conflict and transformation, civic engagement, and European integration. For the last fourteen years, he has also been teaching as an adjunct lecturer at the Ilia State University in Tbilisi, focusing on political philosophy, comparative politics, and history.

Teona Megeneishvili
Teona Megeneishvili is an observer of the Democracy Research Institute. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of Akaki Tsereteli State University. Teona's 2017 Master of Laws degree. She has multi-faceted experience working as a lawyer, both in criminal law and in the administrative and civil law sector. Over the years, she participated in various observation projects
Mariam Bukhuleishvili
Mariam Bukhuleishvili is an observer of the Democracy Research Institute. She is a Licensed attorney in civil and administrative laws and has additional specialization in minors’ rights. Mariam holds a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from the Agricultural University of Georgia and master degree in Business Law (LLM) with a Tax Concentration from the Free University of Tbilisi. Mariam has ten years of work experience in the private sector. Since 2019, she has served as an outsourced lawyer, working in the private law sector, and cooperates with several audit companies regarding litigation matters.
Maka Tsinadze
Administrative Manager

Maka Tsinadze is working with the Democracy Research Institute team as an Administrative Manager/Program Assistant. She holds a master`s degree from Georgian-American University in business administration. Her experience of working on international projects is extensive. Maka mostly was involved in administrative and organizational activities. She`s been assisting office staff as well as other professionals in their activities foreseen by the action. She has organized events in Tbilisi and regions scheduled by the project. Her organizational skills were great contribution for the implementation of the project. Within more than ten years of work with international organizations she has gained competences and knowledge necessary for smooth implementation of international programs.

Tamar Sautieva
Project coordinator

Tamar Sautieva is a Project coordinator of the Democracy Research Institute. She has a master’s degree in the field of social work. She graduated with honor from Tbilisi state university in 2014-2016 years. Tamar’s work experience is connected with improving school social work component, empowered Civil Society for Good Governance, Implementation of Municipal Social Workforce in Adjara Region to address Violence Against Children and Family Vulnerability. She worked for government and non government organizations. In 2021-2022 years Tamar worked as a local expert in the field of prevention of violence against children for Democracy Research Institute, also she had a part in development of the best practical guide for juvenile justice.
