Ketevan Murghulia
Media Researcher
Ketevan Murghulia is a graduate student of Ilia State University and Silesia State University (Poland) with a major in Social Sciences. Currently, she is doing a master’s degree in political sciences at Ilia State University. She has a diverse experience in working in the NGO sector. She has participated in more than 30 international programs implemented in 12 different countries. Ketevan was a mentor at Youth Parliament of Georgia. Since 2018 she is a Georgian Young Ambassador in the European Union.
Konstantine Chachibaia
Legal Counsel
Konstantine Chachibaia is a lawyer at the DRI. He holds a bachelor's degree in Law from Tbilisi State University. In 2016, Konstantine acquired a master's degree in Public Law from Tbilisi State University. In 2019, he obtained a master's degree in Religious Studies from Ilia State University.
He has extensive working experience in the non-governmental sector. Over the years, he has participated in various research projects on human rights, equality, religious and ethnic minorities.
Elene Kopadze
Financial Manager
Elene Kopadze is the financial manager of DRI. In 2002 she graduated from the Tbilisi Business Academy and in the following years worked in private companies such as Goodwill and Abitare. At different times she has attended qualification development trainings and courses.
Tatia Koniashvili
Lawyer

Tatia Koniashvili is a Lawyer at DRI. She has a Bachelor’s degree in law from Tbilisi State University. Currently, she is studying for a master’s degree at the same university. In 2017 - 2018 she was an intern at Non-commercial Legal Entity - ,,My Lawer” and at Notary Office. At different times she has participated in trainings, moot courts and conferences. In 2017-2019 she was a Lawyer at ,,Green Caucasus”. Since 2016 she is a long-term observer at ISFED.

Mariam Chitishvili
Public Relation Manager
Mariam Chitishvili has a bachelor's degree in international journalism and a master's degree in international relations. She made a public relation course in Georgian Institute of Public Affairs. Mariam has academic and journalistic experience. In 2013-2014 she was working as a public relation manager in national centre of manuscript and then in 2014-2019 years she was working in non government organization Article 42 of the constitution as a PR manager.
Maia Nasrashvili
Project Manager
Maia Nasrashvili is a Juvenile Justice program manager at DRI. She has Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University’s bachelor degree in law and Ilia State University’s master degree in Public Policy.
2013-2017 she was working as the head of division of Ministry of Justice of Georgia at LEPL Center for Crime Prevention. She was invited lecturer at Media Law at Ilia State University also.
Maia Nasrashvili has different experience of working on Juvenile Justice reform in Georgia and child protection programs as well.
Ana Gakhokidze

Ana Gakhokidze is licensed lawyer in criminal, civil, administrative law and she also has an additional specialization in children's justice and children's rights.

Ana holds a bachelor's degree of Ilia State University, Faculty of Law and a Master's degree in Public Law of University of Georgia. She has experience of many years working in the field of human rights. 2012-2016 was employed in the non-governmental sector. 2016-2018 worked in the Regional Department of the Public Defender's Office of Georgia. Ana is practicing lawyer since 2019 and cooperates with several law firms.

Mariam Jikia
Lawyer
Mariam Jikia is a licensed lawyer in criminal, civil, administrative law and has an additional specialization in children's justice. Mariam holds a bachelor's degree from the Ilia State University Faculty of Law and a Master's degree in Public Law and Policy from the same university. Mariam has been involved in number of research projects and has extensive experience of civic activism. Both her academic and practical work experience are related to the issues concerning the protection of human rights and equality. Mariam has been working with TDI on strategic litigation and advocacy issues and has work experience with UNDP and UNICEF joint programme.
Ekaterine Datunashvili
Project Manager
Ekaterine Datunashvili is a Project Manager at DRI. She has graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University majoring in International Relations.
Ekaterine has 15 years of working experience in private, government and NGO sector. In 2008-2013 she had managerial positions in private sector. In 2014-2016 she has been heading different projects at the Public Defender’s Office. From 2017 to 2020, Ekaterine has been involved in the implementation of the EU funded projects aimed at supporting institutional development of the Ombudsman’s office. Ekaterine has several years of experience of managing projects financed by the international organizations.
Mariam Geliashvili
Researcher
Mariam Geliashvili is a Researcher at DRI. She  graduated from Tbilisi State University. She has bachelor degree in Social and Political Sciences. Also she is student school of law at Ilia state university. At the same time she studies at the TSU College of Media and Arts, Faculty of Television Graphics. From 2019 to 2020 she worked for investigative journalist team Ifact.
Mikheil Osishvili
Researcher 
Mikheil Osishvili is a researcher at DRI. He graduated with distinction from Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Bachelor of Sociology and Turkology. In 2021 he received a master's degree in sociology from the same university. He has been awarded state scholarships many times at both levels of study. He has participated in various educational exchange projects, training and conferences abroad or in Georgia. In addition, from a professional point of view, he has extensive and many years of experience working in the field of projects and research in local or international non-governmental organizations.


Ana Gudadze
Researcher

Ana Gudadze joined the team of the Democracy Research Institute (DRI) as a researcher. In 2022 she graduated from the Central European University (CEU) in Vienna, Austria, and was awarded a master of laws in human rights academic title. She cooperated with Amnesty International’s office in Vienna in the field of corruption and human rights. In 2018 she completed a course on the European system of human rights protection in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany. In 2019-2021 she cooperated with Rights Georgia NGO within the projects supported by UNHCR, IOM, and Brot für die Welt as a project coordinator, project consultant and lawyer. Furthermore, she collaborated with her Ukrainian colleagues in Kyiv, Ukraine in the field of access to justice and rule of law. In 2015-2018 she worked for various government and private entities as a lawyer and attorney at law. Ana is a member of the Georgian Bar Association and an authorised trainer by the Training Centre of Justice of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. She speaks Georgian, English, German, Russian, and French (beginner) languages.
