On July 6-8, the Democracy Research Institute conducted Security Training for civil society activists and youth from conflict-affected regions.

The training was held with the support of the European Endowment for Democracy and was aimed at strengthening the security capacity of civil society activists.

Training participants together with the invited experts discussed issues related to security. The main focus was on understanding and assessing threats, preventing and reacting to attacks, preparing a security strategy and plan, assessing the security performance of the organization, improving security at work and home, etc.
