On July 16-19, Democracy Research Institute conducted advocacy planning/advocacy training for civil activists and youth from conflict-affected regions, in Kakheti.
The training was held with the support of the European Endowment for Democracy and was aimed at raising awareness of civil society activists on advocacy issues.
During the training, the participants went through the following issues: The essence of democracy and the role of civil society; The importance, forms, stages, and challenges of civic engagement; The importance of advocacy and the methods of finding the information and study the problem.
