The spectrum of far-right groups and movements is diverse in Georgia. The existing groups unite and imply different types of informal groups and formal unions, including political parties.
In recent years, the number of far-right groups and their supporters in the Georgian online space has increased significantly. Various groups express this, among other forms, in organizing aggressive and violent street demonstrations.
Strengthening of the far-right groups has resulted in the repeated criticism of the government that it is ineffective against these problems and that it does not have an effective and systematic policy for the prevention of radicalisation.
