Georgian Dream again plans to adopt the Russian law, which will restrict free and critical opinions in Georgia. The adoption of the bill will block the path of the people of Georgia to the European Union.
On May 10, 2024, at about 11:00 pm, dozens of representatives of special forces brutally assaulted a citizen, who was driving his car on Leonidze Street, in the presence of his family members. The special forces attacked Irakli Bintadze after he refused to give way to the bus of special forces, which was moving in the opposite direction.The decision taken by the state in relation to Azerbaijani journalist constitutes a grave violation of human rights, including breaches of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights.
